FC Adelaide is a football (soccer) club from Adelaide, South Australia. FC Adelaide plays in Division 2 of the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL) Saturday Competitions. They play home games at Western Youth Centre in the suburb of Cowandilla, South Australia.

FC Adelaide was first created under the name Adelaide Soccer Club. Adelaide Soccer Club was formed when two South Australian Amateur Soccer League clubs merged in 2003. The clubs were Adelaide Old Boys Soccer Club and Adelaide Olympic Soccer Club.
Adelaide Old Boys Soccer Club was started 1992 and played at the second oval of Adelaide High School. The team was made up of the members of the Adelaide High Old Scholars Soccer Club (AHOS SC), which was in existence from 1984 to 1987.
Adelaide Olympic Soccer Club was formed in 1979 under the banner of the Australian Greek University Association (AGUA). It was one of the founding teams of the SAASL Saturday divisions.
Adelaide Soccer Club changed its name in 2007 to FC Adelaide and the club's committee created the FC Adelaide Shield to represent the club's heritage.
In 2008 FC Adelaide registered a third team (C Team) with SAASL. The C Team plays in Division 5 of the South Australian Amateur League Saturday competition.
