[edit] Rules for classification
In some leagues, the rules for classification are different from the two given options (hth=yes and hth=blank/no)
An example is the Jupiler League 2007-08, where classification is first based on number of points, then number of matches won. If still tied, a playoff is organised.
So the automatically added text Rules for classification: 1st points; 2nd goal difference; 3rd goals scored, should be optional. However in most leagues this is indeed the case, so it should probably be the default option. Maybe the easiest is to add the option hth=other and other="<insert rules here>"? --Pelotastalk 23:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Problem fixed. Added a parameter p&mw (points and matches won). Yes = show that rule; blank = don't show.--ClaudioMB (talk) 14:31, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Play-offs
There needs to be a new parameter added for Relegation through play-off as well as promotion through play-off. Also should the letters like (R) for relegated be removed once the league has ended? as it becomes obvious which teams are relegated although not which teams are promoted or relegated through play-offs.
- There is (O) for promotion through play-offs. I don't know any relegated through play-offs, could you show one as example? Thanks. --ClaudioMB (talk) 14:38, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- In the Scottish divisions for example the First Division a team can be relegated through a play-off, you did not answer my question as to whether the (R) or (C) letters should stay after the end of the season. Darryl.matheson (talk) 15:37, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- I believe, because of playoffs, the letters should stay in order to make clear which teams went up or down. I've changed the template to show (P) for promoted and removed (O). (P) and (R) should be used for any case of promotion or relegation, because it doesn't matter how a team was promoted or relegated. If it was directly or by playoff, the column Qualification or relegation explain it.--ClaudioMB (talk) 16:04, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New parameter
I've tried adding a new parameter earlier today and, apparently, didn't do it right. The {{#if:|{{{orfc}}} keeps showing in the footer. Can someone who understands the thing fix the problem? Cheers! BanRay 11:43, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
