Talk:Fazila Allana
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think this article stub should not be deleted as it is stating facts about a real person who is doing very important and exciting work in Indian television. Manish Modi 15:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Fazila Allana deserves recognition as she comes from a middle class background which had nothing to do with films and media. Despite that, she and SOL have done a good job producing popular shows and quality content.
Wikipedia is about real people and achievers. That is why Fazila and SOL deserves mention.
Besides, I have given sufficient internet links which are easily verifiable. Just click on those links and verify whether I have written the truth or not. Manish Modi 15:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Please excuse me for I do not know what particular norms of Wiketiquette I am expected to follow. Manish Modi 15:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't put the tags on the page, but you might look at WP:BIO for more info on what is acceptable as biographical information. There are many other pages, but that is a start. Pharmboy (talk) 15:18, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Dear Adhoc, Thank you for removing the delete tags. Manish Modi 17:46, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Dear Pharmboy, I am sorry I do not know what AFD means. Shall look it up and come back to you. Manish Modi 17:46, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi! Pharmboy, I just looked it up and this is what I found: "articles that are generally uncontroversial deletion candidates, such as vandalism, patent nonsense, and erroneously-created User pages."
Well, this stub on Fazila Allana is neither vandalism, nor patent nonsense (it is easily verifiable, I had given enough internet links, which were articles in newspapers) and nor is it an erroneously created User page.
So pray why have you put it up as "Article for Deletion"? Manish Modi 17:53, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
