Fazlollah Reza

Fazlollah M. Reza (born on January 1, 1915 in Rasht, Iran) is an Iranian university professor.

He graduated from Faculty of Engineering, University of Tehran in 1938 by receiving his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He received his master's and PhD in electrical engineering from Columbia University in 1946 and Polytechnic University of New York in 1950 respectively. He is a Fellow of IEEE and AAAS for major contribution to network and information theory.

Dr. Reza has served as the head of Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran, Iran's ambassador to Canada and Iran's ambassador to UNICEF.
As a professor, he has taught at MIT, McGill University, and University of Tehran.
