Born in March 1975 to Adrian Roberts and June Roberts (neé McKillop) in Belfast City Hospital. Moved to Nijmegen in May 1975. Moved to Church Village, a small settlement in the Welsh Valleys in 1977, where her brother, Peter, was born in University of Wales College of Medicine shortly thereafter.
Moved to Rhiwbina, a suburb of Cardiff in 1978, where she lived until February 1982 when she moved to Roath. It was during this period that her interest in music was reinforced with piano lessons, which continued until 1990, and the start of competing in singing competitions, which continued for a lot longer. In September 1984 she started to attend Howell's School Llandaff's new junior school, thereafter to attend the senior school, where her interest in music continued to increase through choirs, clarinet lessons, singing lessons and conducting, along with classical academic training.
In 1990 she joined the South Glamorgan Youth Choir, winners of the choral section of the 1991 Festival of Youth Music. She remained a loyal member of the choir until 1995.
Since the age of 2 she had wanted to be a medical doctor, but poor A Level results in 1993 (probably as a result of taking part in so many musical activities) meant that she was to be disappointed in this ambition, and instead decided to study a joint honours degree in physiology and psychology at Cardiff University. While at Cardiff, she set up the UWC A Cappella Group, a small group of singers dedicated to performing a cappella music of all eras and styles "from madrigals to Motown."
All this ended in 2003 when she moved to Milton Keynes to follow her heart (never mind) and found herself falling into teaching A Level psychology in a Further Education College, Milton Keynes College.
She has taken active part in the (some would say limited) cultural life of the town, including writing poetry for Monkey Kettle and becoming involved in Ludamus, a local Theatre in Education group. She is no longer an active member of the latter, but still occasionally supports productions.
She now works for the company called Bespak, who make medical devices, as part of their Quality Assurance team.
