[edit] Discography standard?

Is there a Wikipedia standard for discographies? As you can see, there's a huge variation among entries listed for this article.

Capitalization: some have the first word capitalized (Baby if); some have all words capitalized (Sukidanante Inea); some have all letters capitalized (MY EYES); some have no words capitalized (look into my eyes).

Quoting: some (the singles) all have quotes around the titles; the albums and DVDs do not. Is there a basis for this inconsistency?

Italicization: Album and DVD titles are italicized; singles are not. Any principle here, or is this just how it ended up?

I'm happy to clean this up if there's a standard (or even if not).

  • About capitalization: This has nothing to do with standards, these are the names of the songs/albums. Many Japanese artists vary their capitalization a lot. And remember to sign your posts using four tildes. =) DJLarZ 21:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
