[edit] The Murch????

Murchison Rd has like 12 neighborhoods off it, this wiki is pretty bad...... Under famous people from Fayetteville, there is no mention of Felton Capel, or Darrell Armstrong, I know he was born in Gastonia but come on...

Alright, we didn't need two headers for Neighborhoods, so I removed one,I also erased "The Murch" and added some other 'hoods. This wiki isn't very good, I'm gonna add stuff every once in a while.--Fayettehelle,NC 02:47, 7 September 2006 (UTC) hello moto

[edit] Mohammed Khan

I can find no references to Mohammed Khan as a notable midfielder from this area. Please provide a citation on this page if it is fact. Lmcelhiney 17:27, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] City infobox

Why can't this city have a regular city infobox like everyone else instead of this bulky space-wasting homemade infobox? --TinMan 16:00, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fayetteville 2006 Metro Numbers

According to the U.S. census 2006 estimates the Fayetteville Metro area MSA(cumberland and Hoke Counties)has a population of 341,363. Terrylaine 10:52, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Babe Ruth and the men to women ratio

There should be some mention of the fact that Babe Ruth hit his first home run at J.P. Riddle Stadium.

Also, the wiki states that the ratio of women to men is 100:91. Has anyone done the research to determine what that ratio would be if you included the tens of thousands of soldiers living on Ft,. Bragg? I think the ratio would change significantly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.62.23.122 (talk) 11:36, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] School Championships

Is it important enough to be included in an encyclopedia article? Especially the fact some cheerleading group almost won a title? Anyone else's thoughts on the matter?--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 14:15, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

I say scrap them all. Dincher (talk) 21:40, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Done.--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Good. Dincher (talk) 22:48, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Population

There seems to be a difference in numbers in this article. The first section states the 2007 population is 120,000(ish)...i don't rememeber the exact number...but further down the page, in the historical population trend box, it shows the population as 203,000. I'm trying to google the correct answer, but no luck so far. Hopefully someone else has the answer.--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 23:03, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

As far as I know we should be going with the "official census" numbers. These should be easy to find. I know that this was prior to annexation. Perhaps we could have the 2000 census numbers and the latest estimates inlcluded in the same sentence or paragraph? Dincher (talk) 23:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Sounds good...I'll work on it after I finish attempting to place my first user box on my profile. ha.--AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 23:13, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay. Have fun with the numbers. Dincher (talk) 23:19, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Suburbs of Fayetteville

Suburban areas of metro Fayetteville do not include Spring Lake, and Raeford. They are in no way suburbs of Fayetteville, NC. But Hope Mills is actually a suburb of Fayetteville, NC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.3.86.109 (talk) 12:50, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
