Fayette Township is one of twelve townships in Vigo County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,553.

Fayette Township covers an area of 40.66 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Barbour and Pleasantview.
