Fawwaz bin Abdul Aziz

Fawwaz bin Abdul Aziz (1934-), Governor of Riyadh from 1960 to 1961, was part of Saudi Arabia's socialist Free Princes movement in in 1962-1964. Rehabilitated by the late King Faisal in 1971, he was named as Governor of Makkah, but was removed from office by the late King Khalid after the 1979 seizure of the Grand Mosque.

Prince Fawwaz, a member of the Bay'ah Council, is the 12th oldest surviving son of the late King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud and is the only full brother of Bandar bin Abdul Aziz. He has a wide range of business activities related to property development in the kingdom.
