Fawdington

Fawdington is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is on the River Swale and near the A1 road motorway, 8 miles south of Thirsk.
The village decentants; the Fawdington family are spread around the world, however, few Fawdington family members remain. Over three generations, the Fawdington family located in the North of England formed a Car sales garage. The Garage was a success, with Reg Fawdington becoming a main BMW dealer in Newcastle, which was recently sold. There is also a Suzuki franchise owned by the family in Hexham.
