FaveoKatro - In Shinto worship, FaveoKatro (The anglicized version of it's true pronounciation, which is Fa-Vei-O-Ka-Ter-Ro), is the most powerful conjuration. It is a subtle difference in inflection of Kami. Essentially similar, FaveoKatro has the connotation of anger, and resentment residing in a vengeful spirit. These typically are said to manifest in tendrils of flame which form foreign runes, and eventually culminate in a violent curse upon the caller. These are usually reserved as a method of punishment, and can be compared to "avenging angels" of the Christian religion.
FaveoKatro serves many purposes. For one, it is clearly a balancer of the mental elements. It is a counter to incorruptible evil, and will serve to offset many such imbalances. This spirit in this sense can be equated to the id of the three mental states, which are the id, ego, and superego, where the id is the one that represents temptation and evil, ego the mediator, and superego the virtuous one.
It was once worshiped by many as an indication of the pure antithesis of virtue - thus, it was not only incredibly revered and feared, but also anticipated as a guide to the path of truth and purity.
