Faverolles (chicken)

The Faverolles is a French breed of chicken. Faverolles were originally bred in France as a utility fowl, but are now primarily raised for exhibition. The Faverolles is relatively large, has a beard, muffs, feathered feet, and five toes. Males are colored straw, reddish brown, and black, where as the female is a creamy white and salmon brown. Hens lay medium sized light brown to pinkish eggs.
