Faulkner Hospital also has one of the few chemical dependency programs within a teaching hospital in the Boston metropolitan area. This program has been in existence for 20 years, serves medically compromised chemically dependent patients, and is one of the few programs which can manage patients in need of intensive medical services, as well those with psychiatric problems which can be managed on an open medical-type unit.152.133.6.3 17:29, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Alan Wartenberg MD
