[edit] AU-SR Shields

Hi, I know that you have helped make some of the AU-SR shields. I am planning to convert them to SVG images. If you wish to make new ones in SVG format, a good, open source program is Inkscape. ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 00:11, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I think that is a good idea, on Tuesday afternoon Perth time, I'll try and refine them (my commons account will allow me to replace images by then). Thanks for the tips. ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 12:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Geez, it took another couple of days than expected for my account to activate, but I've uploaded a new version of the image of the route 2 based on the reccomendations of what you think. A lighter color based on the old shields, smaller writing, and writing in Roadgeek 6 Font. Please comment if you wish ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 08:08, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I thought the font looked a bit different, gonna upload a version with font D now. Thanks ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 08:39, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Good idea, these shields look like the real thing (nearly)!~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 09:11, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
That's all of them in List of Perth major roads. Just gotta put the tables in then it is cleaned up. Might I ask what the routes are that you have added (the ones without an image in this template? ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 09:29, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
You may be pleased to know List of Perth major roads has been fully converted into tables and new SVG-style images :) ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 12:05, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Roads in Perth

I see your edits - you may have a more up to date map than me, but I have tourist route 202 as going through the Rockingham area. I gather State Route 86 has ceased to exist (I have it existing as of 2004)? Can you verify? Also, what do you think of making a template for the Routes page rather than the current repeated table setup? I think it can be done. Ian peters 16:23, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Hello - Route 202 Probably does exist, but Unforunately there is no Route Shield currently created for it, and I am incapable at present to create another route shield (If you want it there, I will ask Trisreed to create it) I removed it just for cleanliness reasons as the redundant link was rather large. Route 86 is now obsolete since Pinjar Road was reduced to a local traffic only road as well as being blocked off from Old Yanchep Road, all the signage has changed on all the respective roads. A Template for the Routes page would probably also be appopriate, as it currently takes up an awful lot of room. Similar Deal with Burns Beach Road being Route 87... its in the Streetsmart 2006 Street Directory. I should also work on recreating a Route/Main Road page for Rural WA, though it will take some time and I'll have to be limited to Rural Arterial Routes. - Boochan 16:33, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

I already have asked him. OK, my challenge for tonight will be to create a template based on the table that appears in on the Perth routes page. I'll keep you informed. Ian peters 16:37, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kwinana Freeway Picture

Thank You for adding a great picture to the Kwinana Freeway article. - Boochan 16:40, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Hey there Boochan, just wanted to say I appreciated your note. Moving house recently meant I've been out of things for a while. I had noticed your work on Perth roads, lots of good stuff there! Cheers SeanMack 12:03, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gmail Address

Ah so you're the one who stole that gmail address...*shakes fist

Sorry Mate, first come first serve. I registered mine three days after the initial offering just for that exact reason! =P - Boochan 09:41, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Do you get spammed much from having it listed in plain on your user page?Garrie 02:59, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but thats why its there, as its a public email. My proper one I use for emailing out is not listed anywhere online, the Gmail just acts a box for anyone who is interested, I check it every few days.
