I'm a Physics Ph.D. student at University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana and hold a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Mathematics awarded by Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. While I have only very recently (June 2007) started my studies here, I believe that I am leaning towards joining with the nuclear structure research group at the excellent nuclear physics research laboratory here. I enjoy engineering and programming projects, and I believe that this fact will influence me towards the experimental side of nuclear structure.

Update: I have started studying nuclear chirality and giant resonances.

While I haven't done much editing (mostly very small things until now) I believe that Wikipedia is a great project and hope to help add to it and refine it as my expertise grows.

Recently I have been working on coding a small game with a friend, building a small Tesla Coil, and constructing a small generator rig to be run by my bicycle tire to provide power to a home brew front light and flasher rig (for safe biking at night).

Finally if someone can point me towards a set of circumaural headphones with excellent sound quality that wont fall apart after 9 months and cost less than an arm and a leg, I would be grateful.

Oh and the only reason I didn't capitalize the S in shadow was because I didn't notice until I had already created the account... oops.
