Moved from base of article - needs separate section? SkierRMH 19:37, 8 April 2007 (UTC) "Fatty Finn (real name Hubert Finn) was created by Australian artist Syd Nicholls in the 1920's for the Sunday newpapers in competition with Ginger Meggs. While he was much more realistcally drawn than Ginger Meggs, reflecting Nicholls' superior draughtmanship, Fatty Finn couldn't quite match Ginger Meggs' brand of 'ocker' humour. Unlike Ginger Meggs, whose strip continues under the penmanship of James Kemsley to this day, Fatty Finn ended with the untimely death of Nicholls in 1977."

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. [edit] No mention of Syd Nicholls and the cartoon that started it all

The movie was based on a famous and long-running strip cartoon, drawn by Syd Nicholls. This needs some mention. -- JackofOz (talk) 03:34, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
