[edit] Tie break?

There are no less than four sets of politicians first elected at the same time - what's the tiebreaker? Did some have periods out of the Dail or is it based on when they take an oath or something? Timrollpickering 17:30, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't think a tiebreaker is needed. Its an unofficial classification, and isn't limited to one person. They all became 'Father' at the same time because they were the longest continuing serving TDs at that time, all with the same length of term. Differences in taking the oath would be in minutes, and wouldn't be fair, I think. The issue of periods out of the Dail has already been taken into account, all these people are included because they didn't have periods out of the Dail. --Rye1967 20:12, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
