Talk:Father Lopez Catholic High School

This school is notable, for starters, as the only Catholic high school in Volusia County. EagleFan 14:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

- Agree with EagleFan. There is no way a neutral stub article about a school can be construed as an advertisement. It in no way promotes itself ("Come to OUR SCHOOL - it ROCKS - and our Baseball Team WILL WIN STATES WOO WOO!!!") or otherwise fulfils the requirements of Blatant advertising:
- Pages which exclusively promote a company, product, group, service, or person and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Note that simply having a company, product, group, service, or person as its subject does not qualify an article for this criterion; an article that is blatant advertising should have inappropriate content as well.
- Articles for private / catholic / parochial schools are not inherently disallowed, although less than notable stub articles frequently get merged into a parish article or similar "parent". At worst the article should be sent through the normal WP:AFD process, and certainly not speedily deleted without any debate. --T-dot ( Talk/contribs ) 14:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
