Fatuha (also Fatwah) is a city and a notified area in Patna district in the state of Bihar, India.it is 24 km. away from Patna, capital city of Bihar in the east direction. It is the first development block unit which has a website.The Railway yard is new feature, here.More recently from 30 Aug'07 Fatuha has started functioning as police subdivision.Didarganj,Fatuha,Khusrupur,Daniawa,& Shahjahanpur are the police stations coming under this subdivision.VISHWAJEET DAYAL has been posted as the first SDPO of the subdivision.It is an important industrial centre known for small industries.It is situated at the confluence of Ganga and Punpun.It is known for Handloom industries[citation needed].

As of 2001 India census,[1] Fatwah had a population of 38,362. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Fatwah has an average literacy rate of 53%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 60%, and female literacy is 44%. In Fatwah, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
