Fatih Sonkaya born on 1st July8,1981 in Oltu,Turkey is a football defender for FC Porto and Turkey.

He started his career in the Netherlands at Roda JC in 1998 and in 2004 he transferred to Beşiktaş in his homeland of Turkey. But in the 2005-2006 season, he moved to Portuguese club FC Porto. He wore the number 22 in FC Porto. He stands 1,75 cm tall and weighs 73 kg. He collected a championships medal with FC Porto and the Super Cup, albeit playing sparingly.
