Fatih Akyel (born December 26, 1977 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish football player who is currently playing for Kasımpaşa S.K.. He came up through the youth ranks of Galatasaray to become a part of the team that won the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup in 2000, assisting Mário Jardel for the game winner against Real Madrid. He also played for Mallorca, Fenerbahçe, Bochum and PAOK Thessaloniki FC. He has also played for the Turkish national team and was a part of the team that earned a third place at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He joined Trabzonspor in January 2006, and would later in 2007 sign with the newly promoted team Kasımpaşa S.K..
