Fathead is a brand name of oversized wall graphics manufactured by Fathead LLC and owned by Dan Gilbert, who also owns Quicken Loans. Currently, Fathead's product offerings include images of MLS, NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, NHL, WWE, and NASCAR athletes as well as Star Wars characters, which can be used to decorate flat surfaces such as walls. They vary in size, but can be as large as 8 feet tall or wide, depending on the image.
Recently, Fathead has added several new product lines, including "Action Sports", such as motocross stars Travis Pastrana and Chad Reed, a new Disney entertainment line featuring superstar Hannah Montana and Pirates of the Caribbean, and a "Heroes" line, featuring Superman, Batman, and United States Military vehicles and emblems.
The precision die-cut, vinyl wall graphics feature a high-resolution image printed on thick high-grade vinyl with a low-tack adhesive that adheres to most walls. The decals are marketed as being able to be moved from place to place with no loss of adhesion or damage to the wall. Some Fatheads include various sports figures, such as the Jimmie Johnson No. 48 car taking the turn, LeBron James driving to the hoop, or Jerome Bettis charging across the goal line.
In addition to Petty and Harvick, Fathead's commercials have also featured NFL players Torry Holt, Chad Johnson, and Ben Roethlisberger, and most recently, MLB player David Wright. NASCAR driver Kyle Petty also had a commercial.
Fathead advertises extensively on NFL broadcasts and ESPN.
Some of Fathead's slogans are "Are you fan enough?" and "Take this Fathead and stick it!"
