Fateh Nagar is mainly a Sikh colony with few punjabi Hindus , living in harmony, in West Delhi near Tilak Nagar behind the Jail Road. Jail Road Furniture Market is one of the Landmarks of this colony.

Fateh Nagar is a nice and a clean place and famous for the Chhote Sahibzade (the 2 younger sons) of the Tenth Guru (Guru Gobind Singh) of Sikhs Gurudwara in this colony. Fateh Nagar has two Gurudwaras. People use to call it Mini Punjab of Delhi. Ashok Nagar is opposite to this colony. This colony falls under the Tilak Nagar assembly constituency and South Delhi parliamentary constituency. The famous Gurudwara is the main attraction of Fateh Nagar. People come here from different places and the crowd in the Gurudwara is from different religions and casts. They have the Langar(from the holy kitchen) irrespective of the caste or color they belong to, every Tuesday, and people come here daily with the holy and peaceful mind. People believe that if you go & pray here for 5 Tuesdays your wishes can come true. The testimonials are countless.
