[edit] Synopsis
Ginger Martin, a young wife from San Francisco, arrives in Honolulu to search for her husband Johnny. She hires Hawaiian Eye to locate him. Tom Lopaka finds Johnny working as a deckhand for Verna Collins, a wealthy older woman. Johnny took a temporary job with her after leaving the service, and refuses to meet Ginger until he gets paid. Meanwhile, Greg Collins, having been turned down for a divorce by his wife Verna, tells his girlfriend Tiki that Johnny may be violent. Greg Collins drugs the wine Verna takes aboard for her nightly cruise. After she and Johnny Martin pass out, Greg Collins rows out to the yacht, climbs aboard, then smothers his sleeping wife with a pillow, leaving Johnny to be accused of the murder.
Lt Danny Quon arrests Johnny, but tells Tracy Steele and Tom Lopaka that the autopsy report reveals Verna Collins was drugged. From harbormaster Mickey at the yacht club, Tom learns that Greg Collins has a girl friend named Tiki. Lopaka also discovers Greg Collins had rented a small boat near the bay where the yacht had anchored on the night of the murder. Meanwhile, Tiki is shocked and disbelieving at the murder, and asks Greg pointblank if he did it. Before he can answer Lopaka arrives, confronts Collins with the evidence against him, then subdues him just as the police arrive.

[edit] Musical interlude
All the Warner Brothers detective shows of the late fifties and early sixties had one or more musical interludes written into the teleplay. For this episode, Poncie Ponce played his ukulele and sang I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover, while Connie Stevens sang You Do Something to Me with the Shell Bar band accompanying her.
[edit] Episode notes
Though much of the story takes place aboard a small yacht, shown gently rolling in long shots, there is never any suggestion of the ship's movement during onboard scenes.
