[edit] History

FatCat Radio, based in Rockford, Illinois, was founded in December 2001[1] by indie music fan and supporter One Angry Swede. Starting as a simple playlist on the original MP3.com, FatCat eventually launched a stand-alone website in April of 2004 featuring music provided by various online music distributors (OMD's). A complete overhaul to the website in the summer of 2006 led to the addition of live programming several days a week.
