Talk:Fastest trains in India

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ravinderjain (talk) 08:49, 16 February 2008 (UTC)I think along with the round-trip speed, also we need to have another column which displays the maximum speed of the train. Because depending on the traffic on a rail-track and its category the train might not go at its fullest speed. --Jayanta (Talk) 08:51, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Confusing information

The speed given for 'Bhopal Shatabdi' is the maximum speed - while for all other trains, the average speed is given. It is confusing, as well as misleading.

Will it not be more suitable to give two columns - one for the maximum speed and another for the average speed?

For some trains, the rount trip distance has been provided, whereas for other (e.g. Bangalore Shatabdi), the on-way distance is provided. Please provide consistent information —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahesh venu (talkcontribs) 16:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I agree that a column for max. speed must also be given so that the readers know which train is the "fastest" ravinderjain

[edit] Fastest Sections

I added a few "fastest sections" to provide more accurate information on train speeds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.212.160.133 (talk) 07:43, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
