All instances of "Fastball Special" I've seen have had 'special' capitalized. Can anyone provide a counterexample? If not, renaming this article would be a good idea. -Toptomcat 03:31, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Since nobody objected, I went ahead and did it. -Toptomcat 18:38, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

I've seen this move performed on "Rocky and Bullwinkle" with Bullwinkle tossing Rocky. Does this count? - Anonymous, 19:49, 15 October 2006

Probably not, in a strict sense. R&B is pre X-Men, if I remember correctly, and Bullwinkle is not superhumanly strong, and it's outside of the comics/superhero medium. If only two of those three were true, it could probably be plausibly included, but not as is. -Toptomcat 15:24, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Hey you guys! Check this out Fantastic Four doin it way before it was cool.

Fantastic Four #49 Page 13. Reed gets Thing to throw him at Galactus. The Marvel site requires registration but it is free.

What do you say about that? This was published originally in 1966. mice 23:05, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
