Faskari

Faskari is a town and Local Government Area (LGA) in Katsina State, northern Nigeria.[1] The population of the LGA was 125,181 as of 2003[1] with the city itself having an estimated population of 15,314.[2] The current Sarkin (emir) is Muhammadu Tukur Saidu, and the Executive Chairman is M. Nafiu Garba Faskari, a People's Democratic Party member.[3]
