[edit] License tagging for Image:Viking XPRS.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Viking XPRS.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:09, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] SuperSeaCat / Tallink / Silja monopoly

I'm a bit mystified as to why you removed the monopoly statements from the Silja Line article, as that was the reason why the SSC's weren't included in the sale (though the line should have read "practical monopoly" I guess). Other than that, great work on the ferry articles. - Kjet 18:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

First, thank you. You are doing a great job yourself. Regarding the monopoly statement, both Eckerö, Viking, Nordic Jet and now Linda Line gives Tallink competition on the route in question. If the SSC:s belonged to Tallink, they would surely have a big market share but not close of a monopoly. That's my opinion. Perhaps the article can be written accordingly? - FarbrorJoakim 09:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
I'll try and look up the correct term for it. Essentially if Tallink had also controlled the SSC's their market share would have been so big that the officials in Finland and Estonia would not have approved of the sale. At least in the Finnish cources this is referred to as a mnopoly even though it isn't one in the precise meaning of the word. But yeah, I'll look up the correct terminology and fix the article accordingly. - Kjet 14:07, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Dominant market position! - Kjet 14:26, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Fanta flag debate

There has been some discussion and edit warring over the use of the 1940 German flag in an article on the Fanta product which was originally formulated in Germany in 1940. A debate has opened for those interested: Talk:Fanta#Debate_on_use_of_flag_in_Fanta_article. SilkTork 10:51, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
