Fartha is a small townland in the south eastern side of County Cavan, Ireland. It consists of 146 statute acres and is 657 feet at its highest point. It is made up mostly of green area and has a 4.5 acre lake known as Fartha Lough with 2 streams flowing from it.
The townland of Fartha has few families living there. It is mainly made up of the Drury, Boyle and Martin families. Its current population (in 2007) is 13, compared with 91 in the 1901 census.
