Faro Airport (Portuguese: Aeroporto Internacional de Faro) (IATA: FAOICAO: LPFR) is located about 4.4 miles (7km) to the west of Faro, Portugal.

This airport is commonly used by tourists on holiday in the Algarve but is sharply increasing its influence throughout the business community of entire southwest Iberian Peninsula as a direct consequence of being already one of Europe's leading low cost hub airports. It is Portugal's second International gateway, after Lisbon's International airport.
