Farnham Maltings
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Farnham Maltings is a creative arts centre in the market town of Farnham, Surrey, England. It caters for all ages, with workshops, clubs, groups and sessions involved in craft, theatre, music and writing amongst others.
The Maltings hosts events such as the 2006 Summerbreeze Music Festival, where acts such as Nizlopi played, as well as local Battle of the Bands winners Jeremy George, 4 Random Flavours and Floorless. It has recently been on a tour of the play "In the Bleak Midwinter", a story about the birth of Jesus.
The Maltings plays a central role in the community. When Farnham produced hops for making beer it played a vital role as well.
