Farnborough North railway station is a railway station in the town of Farnborough in Hampshire, England. The station is managed by First Great Western, who operate services on the North Downs Line from Reading to Guildford, Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
It is one of two stations serving Farnborough: the other, Farnborough (Main), is situated on the South Western Main Line and is considerably busier. At peak times, around 8:30am and 4:30pm, the station is much busier than usual, when students from the two local colleges and the local school use the station for their travel to and from education. In the mornings there is usually a substantial queue to cross over the level crossing, trailing the entire platform.
[edit] Services
Farnborough North is served by trains approximately every 60 minutes in each direction Monday to Saturday, and every two hours on Sundays. There are additional trains during peak periods on weekdays. The trains operate between Reading and Gatwick Airport, with a few trains terminating at Redhill.
