Farmhouse is the eleventh studio album by the American jam band Phish. The tracks were recorded at The Barn, Trey Anastasio's studio in Vermont. The songwriting on the album was a joint effort between Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall along with Tony Markellis, Russ Lawton, and Scott Herman. Some of the tracks included on this disc are reincarnated versions of earlier song sketches included on Trampled By Lambs and Pecked by the Dove. All of the songs on the album had previously been in the Phish concert rotation, some dating back to 1997.
The Japanese release of the album contained two bonus tracks, "Driver" and "Mountains in the Mist".
It was the last Phish studio album before their indefinite hiatus in October 2000.
The single "Heavy Things" became Phish's biggest single to date, becoming a hit on Adult Top 40 radio and on the Radio & Records pop 100 chart.
The album was certified Gold by RIAA 01/30/06.
