Farm to Market Road 331, or FM 331, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas.
[edit] History
FM 331 was originally designated along a 7 miles (11 km) stretch from SH 159 in Bellville to Burleigh in 1945. In 1958, the highway was extended southward 6.3 miles (10.1 km) from Burleigh to SH 36 southeast of Peters. In 1970, the highway was rerouted north of Burleigh, when the original section from Burleigh towards the northwest was redesignated as part of FM 529 and FM 2916 was added to the route. [1]
[edit] Notes
- FM 331 goes through the small community of Burleigh.
- FM 331 ends as it continues into Oil Field Road towards SH 159 which then goes through the small community of Raccoon Bend, Texas.
