As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Faridganj has a population of 348281. Males constitute are 49.69% of the population, and females 50.31%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 160438. Faridganj has an average literacy rate of 41.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
