Begum Farida Amir Azam (1937-1992) is the sponsor of the Sardar Amir Azam Khan Gold Medal in the University of Karachi. And the initiator and benefactor of the Sardar Amir Azam Memorial Society. The 3rd wife of former Pakistani politician and Rehabilitation Minister, Sardar Amir Azam

Farida born 1937 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The daughter of Abid Hussain, an overseer in the Officer’s Mess at Karachi. Earlier schooled in India and later after Independence continued her education in Home Economics College Karachi.

She married the Pakistani Rehabilitation Minister Sardar Amir Azam in 1956. Had six issues. Accompanied her husband on official visits to some foreign countries during 50's. Remained associated to educational institution for children as its benefactor and social work. Appeared on media in some of the Pakistani dailies and weeklies. also remained attached to a construction and housing firm Al Azam. Farida Visited some neighboring countries during the 70's. And during the same era she formed a Memorial Society. Sponsored a Gold Medal in the University of Karachi in 1977. Participated as an organizer in the 1979-80's Pakistani elections from her own area. Remained associated to a London based Pakistani weekly known as Aiena-e-Jahan. She also commenced an occasional get-together for the students to compliment them. She died on 5th July 1992.
