Farhad Fakhreddini

Farhad Fakhreddini (Born 1937) is a renowned Iranian composer, conductor and founder of Iran’s National Orchestra.

His deep knowledge of Iranian and western classical music coupled with his experience in directing orchestras made him the most appropriate person to conduct Iran's National Orchestra.

The legendary Farhad Fakhreddini was awarded the Order of Merit, first degree, in arts and culture by the Iranian government in June 2005.
