Farewell Tour is the first live album by American rock band The Doobie Brothers, released in 1983. (see 1983 in music). It documents what they thought would be their final concert. The front cover shows Keith Knudsen cutting the strings on John McFee's guitar as a symbolic gesture.[1] Original lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Johnston is featured on the final two songs. The album is not currently in print and has never been issued on CD in the US, but it has been issued on CD in Japan by Warner Brothers, (and subsequently imported into the US).
