Farafina Magazine

Farafina Magazine is a monthly publication (it was a bi-monthly until September of 2007) which provides a high quality medium for people all over the world to freely express their world view. It is a general interest magazine written in simple uncluttered prose and illustrated with humorous drawings and photographs. The magazine has received strong commendations from people from different walks of life.
Every issue of the magazine is compiled by a guest editor. Guest editors for the magazine have included the writers Ike Oguine, Olajide Bello,Okey Ndibe,Molara Wood,Toni Kan,Uzodinma Iweala, Petina Gappah and Akin Adesokan.
Farafina Magazine has featured the works of Wole Soyinka, Segun Afolabi, Uche James Iroha, Funmi Iyanda, Dinaw Mengestu, Barbara Murray, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jackee Budesta Batanda, Helon Habila, Tosin Oshinowo, Patrice Nganang, Jide Alakija, and a plethora of other writers and graphical artists.
The publisher of Farafina Magazine is Muhtar Bakare. The editorial team of the magazine include Uzodinma Iweala and A. Igoni Barrett.
