Other languages WikiProject Echo has identified FAOLdone as a foreign language featured article. It is thought that everything has been translated from the [[:{{{link1}}}|{{{lang1}}}]] language Wikipedia as of [[{{{date1}}}]], but this English version has not yet passed the nomination process.
This template employs intricate features of template syntax.
You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with its setup and parser functions before editing the template. If your edit causes unexpected problems, please undo it quickly, as this template may appear on a large number of pages.
Remember that you can conduct experiments, and should test all improvements, in either the general Template sandbox or your user space before changing anything here.

This template should be placed in talk pages to highlight articles that have gained featured article status in other languages but are not as detailed in English, once the information from those articles has been translated.

[edit] Usage

It should be added using either of the following forms:

{{FAOLdone|language|interwiki link|date}}
{{FAOLdone|lang1=language|link1=interwiki link|date1=Date}}

Example on Talk:Europe:

{{FAOLdone|Chinese|zh:??|2006-11-21}}

For additional languages use this form:

{{FAOLdone|language|interwiki link|date|lang2=Language|link2=Link|date2=Date|lang3=Language|link3=Link|date3=Date}}

If this article is featured, suppress the "but this English version has not yet passed the nomination process" text by passing "FA=yes":

{{FAOLdone|Chinese|zh:??|2006-11-21|FA=yes}}

A small version, floated right, may be generated as:

{{FAOL|language|interwiki link|date|small=yes}}

This template is compatible with {{WikiProjectBannerShell}}.

Always write the language name by capitalising the first letter:

Arabic, French...

Interwiki link should be written without using brackets

fr:Article not [[:fr:Article]]
