I was trying to figgure out why my photo was not showing up and my copyright did not get listed properly (which I find confusing). I own the photo.
While in I had added to my Biblogaphy... and suddenly I find my bio deleated. Confused.
Yes I did ad my own bio, as many I suppose do, however I am a legit writer, publisher, entrepuerner, listed in two WHOS WHO volumes in America and therefore not sure why I was deleated. My writing followed guidelines of other submissions. If you can reinstate me, I appreciate it. Thanks. Eric Rhoads

I strongly disagree about your deletion of the description of this company, since the contect of the profile is under a GNU policy or otherwise all company like Microsoft, Oracle or IBM should be remove. The article is not any advertise, is just the history of the company, but it seems you only like the content you want to publish. That's totally an abitrary use of your permission IMHO. In the context of midwest-usa electronic music history, madfam is a significant. The community has many playflul elements, but as a web site, I believe madfam has been around as long or longer than Wikipedia. Please check the domain registry records if unsure. [edit] dHealth page
(I posted our previous thread here) Hello, I understand that you deleted the page on the dHealth Institute. I really think there should be a page on them on wiki. They are an importatnt (non-profit) institution in the world of diabtes management. I was an early Beta tester of this new free diabetes management service that they launched and it has really changed my life around. In addition, they are doing some interesting research that is leading to advancements in the field. I see you have deleted this article and given the summary: "copyvio". I hope you would consider letting me have a second look at that article in order to rectify the objections you had to it. I try hard to avoid copyright violations and I think I have succeeded so far, but I do not remember the spesifics of this particular article. In any case I hope you could restore this article and in stead tell me what the problem was so I can correct it. Inge 23:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blue MauMau Deletion
You deleted the Blue MauMau article (on 12/26, I believe) I wrote for 1) insignificant group 2) blatant advertising. Neither of this is true. I prefer to remain anonymous rather than these comments being googled from here to eternity, so if you would reply to the e-mail of record for the article and give me a return e-mail address and phone number, it would be appreciated.
Thanks!

- This article was deleted under speedy delete criteria A7 (does not assert notability) and G11 (advertising). I have re-read the article and do not see any reason to change that assessment. Please read WP:WEB and WP:SPAM for more information on Wikipedia's policies. Thank you, Fang Aili talk 19:34, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand. The opening line of the article says that Blue MauMau is an on-line franchisee community. It also happens to be the largest on-line franchisee community with well over 200,000 visits per month. Franchising is a $1 trillion business and heretofore franchisees, the biggest part of it, have not had much of an opportunity to get the news they need to feel comfortable about making very important business decisions and to learn from each other. Blue MauMau provides that for them. How can this be considered not notable? Although not mentioned by name, it's one of those Web 2.0 websites that was the subject of the previous cover story in Time magazine (Person of the Year: You) and that are also being discussed on TV news magazines. Wikipedia and Google are also numbered among those Web 2.0 sites. As far as advertising, I don't see any ads at all on Blue MauMau. Certainly the group is not advertising itself and I am not an owner advertising for my benefit. May I suggest that you take a look at the website itself at www.bluemaumau.org to verify its importance.
Also, I asked that you contact me via my e-mail of record, which your info page said I could do, but you put the reply here on the public record which I said I wanted to avoid. What happened? Makanikai 20:38, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- First, I don't give out my email address or phone number to random people on the internet. Second, the article was written like an advertisement. If you wish to recreate the article, go ahead, but please do so in an encyclopedic manner, and add the notability assertions you mention above. Thank you, Fang Aili talk 00:32, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello Fang Aili. The title was Imperial Oaks Subdivision, Spring Texas. It was deleted 03:21, 6 Jan 2007 Fang Aili. My last post that stated it was Jan 7 was incorrect. Thanks, Mattscards
- It was very short, lacking context, and also didn't have much of a claim of notability. I'm going to move its text to a user subpage, and you can work on it there. After you've fleshed it out a little, move it back to article space. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 19:56, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Musical terms
I have noticed that the Wikipedia uses chiefly British variations of musical terms, like "metre", instead of the more common "meter". I think that article names should use the more common, international terms, then indicating the chiefly British variations at the first occurrence, as the latter are rather out of vogue these days. [edit] Hi, me again
Hello, Jadger here, I conversed with you a month ago about a disruptive user. He is still at it, despite multiple blocks. I have been asking the previous admin who had blocked him to do it again, but it seems he is also tired of this user and wants nothing to do with it. 131/Serafin is continuously personally attacking users, and about 98% of his edits have been reverted. he needs to be shown that his actions are unacceptable on Wikipedia. if you want some proof here it is: Special:Contributions/131.104.218.46 Special:Contributions/Serafin
--Jadger 00:41, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I had looked at the 131 block list but not Serafin's, he also sometimes uses a 216 IP address sometimes, and has already evaded a block before. J Smith is the same admin that had previously blocked him, so I guess I did not give him as much credit as he deserves.

[edit] Conversations about Copernicus edits
Hello, I left the following comment on user:Philip Gronowski's talkpage.
- BTW, if you look at my talkpage, it appears a user who disagreed with one of my reverse edits, may be using multiple IPs or has a sockpuppet. It is the last item called "Link on Copernicus". One person signed it, Andrew, and the other is by an anonymous unsigned IP that I did not leave a citation on.
The anonymous IP left another message on my talkpage after I left a comment about his message to me. He seems to be watching my page as he replied after my comment. Cheers. Ronbo76 01:47, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Old deletion
Hi Fang Aili,
I'm writing to ask why the picture and link to the Prostate Cradle was removed on the prostate massage and prostate massager page a few months ago. There is a wealth of information on this website that aims to help individuals suffering from prostatitis and other prostate ailments. External prostate massagers represent a revolution in prostate massage: They are a proven effective alternative to awkward and sometimes painful traditional invasive massagers. If you do a search on google for prostate massage and prostate massager, you'll see that wwwProstateCradle.com is listed first or second. There is no comparison between the Prostate Cradle and the products offered by other companies. Thank you for your consideration. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enviromaxinfo (talk • contribs)

[edit] Accusing a e-mail provider for delibaretely spamming Wikipedia?
Hi,
Sorry for long subject. As a paying user , I really wonder if you are really accusing Fastmail.fm commercial e-mail company for spamming Wikipedia.
If it is so, how can we report you? As I had my own "talk" there about the misunderstanding between a commercial mail provider feature list (if not,who would "buy"?) and spam.
Should other third party mail providers (and their customers) restrain from listing their unique, additional features and claim they offer plain POP3 so they won't be delisted by a very major offensive claim such as "Spam"?
Since when it is "spam" to have major unique features and people describing them? Do you know how serious accusation this is against a company which does ONLY mail business?
I will check back this encyclopaedia when it becomes mature, not a toy of people who does too much time in their hands and kind of virtual power needs.
Also, if you claim this user (me) is teaming up with Fastmail, my pays are documented to them via Paypal, I will need you to stand behind/verify your accusations or sue you.
Accusing people of spamming is not a day to day joke.

Spam and failure to assert notability are both speedy delete criteria, meaning the articles can be deleted by an admin without discussion. --Fang Aili talk 17:08, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Just wanted to say thankyou for your quick action in that debate. The wrestling one rolled on and on and was obviously not going to result in anything except upsetting a lot of contributors and I was worried the same was about to happen there. Course, a lot of those games probably are non-notable, and the nomination was in good faith, but it's always good to see pro-active admins who can see the way something's going and act. Cheers! I think you have made a wrong decision when you just deleted the article about Humany. It was not advertisment. Not more than other articles under the categories: swedish companies. Besides, it was a translation from the Swedish wikipedia article! I am registered as Selmo's admin coach. However, we haven't really gotten it off the ground, perhaps due to my being startled that Selmo is 3/4 of the way to becoming an admin himself! Sorry if I've been neglectful. --Gray PorpoiseYour wish is my command! 22:39, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Depends on what Selmo thinks. If he hasn't the need for a coach (or wants a different one), I'd be happy to take another. [edit] George Brand
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from George Brand, which you proposed for deletion. I am leaving this message here to notify you about it.
The article does describe Brand as rising above the convict class, which was very unusual for the time. Convictism was a highly significant part of the social, financial and political development of the state and individuals like Brand were quite unusual and notable because of this. A student of Western Australian history would describe the class separation as important when just under 10,000 convicts were transported to the colony during a 18 year period when the total population increased five fold. I certainly wouldn't argue for bio's on every convict, but as said, Brand was unusual. If you still feel the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to it. Instead, feel free to list the article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! .—Moondyne 01:42, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- That's cool. Perhaps you could add something to that effect to the article. The reason it didn't strike me as notable was because I didn't know that "rising above the convict class" was "very unusual for the time". Adding some context will help. Thanks, Fang Aili talk 01:50, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks to both of you for the courtesy extended to me while I was on break. No-one likes to come home to a bunfight. I agree with everything that Moondyne said above, but I also accept that the claim of notability may not be particularly clear; it probably wouldn't survive an AfD in its current state. If you would be so kind as to give me a week of grace, I'll try to get hold of a copy of The Brand On His Coat again, and rewrite the article to make the assertion of notability more explicit. Hesperian 10:50, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

- His notability is clear in the current article. Can I gently suggest you add these templates to articles in a careful manner. Your wish to delete something you 'didn't know' is questionable. You have given no other reason and I think you always should with this sort of thing. Fred 11:55, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, his notability is not at all clear. Right now it reads like he was a common criminal in Australia. (Though I have refrained from adding the {{importance}} tag.) These kinds of things might be obvious to you, being an Australian, but to the rest of the world, it might not be. We should try not to be X-country-centric. --Fang Aili talk 14:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Newscast Schedule and Personalities Removal from Station Articles
True this isn't a TV listing or a station website, but duly noted newscast schedules and personalities listings should be listed in television station articles and there are other people who visit this site, who think that showing newscast information and a list of station personalities gives people a sense of what the station is. —Locke Cole • t • c 15:53, 26 January 2007 (UTC) Was not logged in as Locke Cole; see 156.110.24.142 (talk · contribs)
- No, there's a consensus against such information. Please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television Stations for more. Even more importantly, WP:NOT is explicit about this. 1.7.3: Wikipedia is not a TV guide: "For example, an article on a radio station generally should not list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, schedules, programme lists, etc., although mention of major events or promotions may be acceptable." [edit] PaGaian Cosmology & Glenys Livingstone
Hello Fang I would like to object to the proposed deletion of these articles and discuss how to improve them to meet Wiki standards. PaGaian Cosmology is practised by a number of groups in Australia. Other groups in the UK, US, Australia use the book and Cosmology therein for ritual practice of this ecospirtuality. The book is entirely based on Livingstone's PhD thesis.
It has been reviewed in the following publications
EINGANA The Journal of the Victorian Association for Environmental Education, Vol 29 Number 1, April 2006. (Review by Ruth Rosenhek, environmental justice activist)
Women-Church: An Australian Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, issue 38, Autumn 2006, p. 42-43. (by Lynne Hume, Associate Professor in the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics at the University of Queensland)
Journeys newsletter, Winter 2006 Volume 14, No. 1
(by Elizabeth Cain, Jungian Psychotherapist and Spiritual Counsellor) and Pagan journal The Crossroads, Issue 3, Litha 2005
Glanys and her work are well respected among the goddess spirituality network within Australia and the USA.

- I can't thank you enough. No chance to read them yet, but I'm reasonably confident that they, along with what came up on that Google search, should be sufficient to take the article to GA status, which would be really great as I didn't think an article on such an old disaster would ever be considered complete. Blood Red Sandman Open Up Your Heart - Receive My EviLove 21:34, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

- It's not worth the hassle of checking, but it was probably my typo anyway. I tend to make rather a lot of them. I had a look at you're user page, to get to know a little a bout you, and noticed that you're from Milwaukee. I don't know if you spotted it on my user page or not, but another disaster article I have been heavily involved in (i.e. wrote) is the 2006 Milwaukee explosion article. [edit] User talk:Calktm3 and album articles
Hi Erica, Thanks for the note. The Chi Rho article was deleted while I was away from my watchlist for a while, else I would have contested the prod. The group had met the notability guidelines, and it was documented in the article. I've been meaning to put it up for review, or at least get it resurrected and sent to AfD for better consideration, but I've been so busy with another editing project, that it keeps getting put off. If the main group article stays deleted, then the albums should probably be so, too. Is there a way, since you're an admin, that you can go back and look at the group's article? I'd be interested to hear if you think they met the notability criteria. Maybe now's the time to get an AfD ruling? Thanks for checking with me...I really appreciate the kind consideration. [edit] Dune box - incorrect migration - FYI
The bot incorrectly replaced the Dune Fear box. It was replacing {{user Dune:Fear}} with User:Scepia/Dune:Fear (incorrect) instead of User:Scepia/Dune/Fear (correct). See recent history at User:Fang Aili/Userboxes and memeage for details. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 18:10, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, and a while back it also replaced {{User its}} with User:Scepia/iTS, which are entirely different boxes. [2] --Fang Aili talk 18:12, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- The its/iTS bug has been fixed, but I don't have any idea what's causing the Dune:Fear problem. I checked the code, I don't see anything that could cause it. For now, I'll just let it replace {{user Dune:Fear}} with User:Scepia/Dune:Fear and then run my bot through all of them and change it to User:Scepia/Dune/Fear. —Mets501 (talk) 18:48, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Did you ever get your AutoWikiBrowser to run the way you wanted it to? [edit] Hi Fang Aili
Thanks for deleting my page history last month after my request to vanish. However, a couple of bots have tagged a couple of old images of mine for deletion, which I don't mind at all (deleting the images I mean). So could you possibly delete those two comments on there and lock the page? I don't care what happens to those images, if fine with me if someone wants to delete them, they don't need my input.
Thank you very much! ps: please reply on your talk page
Thanks again. Do you think my contributions list could be deleted as well by any chance? Sorry to trouble you like this.
- Nope, I don't think that's possible unless it's some kind of extreme circumstance, like you have some personal information in there and you think someone is going to track you down and do harm upon you. Even then I'm not sure exactly how it's done. --Fang Aili talk 17:32, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A WP:WARN tutorial
Hello Ms. Fang,
Something's been bothering me for a while, and I hope you can help resolve it. I find a dearth of tutorial or explanation pages on how to use WP:WARN templates. The subst page, in particular, is indecipherable and should not be recommended for beginners. I remember coming across a page on the topic on the Admin Coach project, or perhaps it was a page by one of the coaches -- I didn't have time to look more carefully, or see if it was simple enough. Anyway, so here I am writing to you in the hope that someone can produce a guide for beginners, one that is as simple as possible. Thanks. Xiner (talk, email) 21:47, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:Rmrfstar and Admin Coaching
Hey Fang Aili,
Just wanted to comment a little bit on the recent comments on the Admin coaching page. Your comments there were greatly appreciated. I started feeling like Rmrfstar was sort of ignoring any points that were addressed, and, although I feel he makes some valid points (if just a few), I couldn't help but shake the idea that there was more going on to this than what he's said.
It turns out Rmrfstar has had two failed RFAs: here, where he stated "I don't know that I'll do any sysop chores", and here where he stated he wouldn't use the mop very often. This is starting to make more sense to me now. I knew I had seen his name before; I just didn't remember where. I supported his second RFA. This RFA stuck out a bit more in my mind because user:Kelly Martin was a big advocate for him and asked the closing 'crat to ignore twelve of the oppose !votes, which did not happen.
It is clear from Rmrfstar's comments that he doesn't like RFA's "cookie-cutter" approach to granting adminship. I feel, however, that he's targeting the wrong project page, as the RFA process doesn't come from WP:ADMINCOACH, and there doesn't seem to be a way of convincing him otherwise. Any ideas? :) Firsfron of Ronchester 03:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
