I'd suggest that the actual Scottish use of fandan is a good bit more abusive than this suggests - it being a handy 'idiot'/'fool' replacement, rather than slang for a woman whenever I've heard it used. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.105.165.178 (talk)
