Talk:Fancy dance

I added some material to this page, but in general, I think I see two things going on and maybe this requires a bit of additional input. Fancy Dance, which this page is about, is one of several categories of, as far as I can tell - I'm new to this - competitive Pow Wow dancing. Other categories include grass dance, jingle dance, men's northern and southern traditional dances, women's traditional dance. There are other regional and tribal dances as well.

The big Pow Wows in the Pow Wow circuit are in a big way, formal competitive dance arenas, but this isn't really reflected in the way Native American Dance is set up in wikipedia. I don't know how to beging to help fix that though, or if it needs fixing but maybe others can show me how. Joemann
