The MS Fantasy is the lead Fantasy class cruise ship for Carnival Cruise Lines. She currently sails on four and five day itineraries to Cozumel from New Orleans, Louisiana. She went into service in 1990, and was initially based out of the Port of Miami.

[edit] 2008 Evolutions of Fun upgrade
On January 28, 2008 Carnival Cruise Lines announced that Carnival Fantasy will go into drydock in the Fall of 2008 and will be the third ship to receive the full Evolutions of Fun upgrade that her sister ships Carnival Inspiration and Carnival Imagination received in 2007.[1]
