Famicom Top Management (ファミコン トップマネジメント?)[2] is a Famicom business simulation game that turns the player into a corporate executive. Using his management skills, he must turn his fledgling corporation into a profitable super corporation. Created by Koei, the game is a hit with business students in high school, college, and university. The entire game is in Japanese, so literacy in the Japanese language is required. Famicom Top Management features abstract art that serves as the game's graphics. The game is mostly text-based and players can choose between five major electronics companies to play as (including IBM and Fujitsu). Like most business games, bankruptcy ends the game with a game over. A sequel named Top Management II was later released for the Super Famicom.
