Falls Church High School (FCHS) is a high school located in Fairfax County, Virginia. While the school has a Falls Church, Virginia mailing address, the school is not located in the city of Falls Church and does not serve the city of Falls Church. Falls Church is served by George Mason High School. The former principal, Janice H. Lloyd, stepped down at the end of November 2007. R.C. Bosley served as an interim principal and Cathy Benner is the new, permanent principal. The school serves grades 9 through 12. It was relocated from its former site in downtown Falls Church to this address in 1967.

Falls Church's student body in 2006-2007 was 33% White (Not Hispanic); 9% Black (Not Hispanic); 32% Hispanic; 22% Asian; and 2% Other.[3]

Falls Church High School is fully accredited based on its Virginia Standards of Learning test performance. The school was listed as the 189th best high school in America by Newsweek magazine in 2007[4]

On December 5, 2006, Falls Church High School was named a National Demonstration Site for the elective class Advancement Via Individual Determination, (AVID).[5] Falls Church is one of only two schools in Fairfax county that have a full four-year AVID program. The AVID program is led by Francis Payne (Room 211).

On June 1, 2007, at the Jaguars' graduation at the Patriot Center, on the campus of George Mason University, Ben Affleck made a special appearance as a guest speaker thanks to a student who knew him and was graduating. He made a speech and met with students and was also accompanied by his wife, Jennifer Garner.[6]
