The Falconcity of Wonders is a project to build a city in Dubai with replicas of the seven wonders of the world plus modern wonders such as the Eiffel tower and Taj Mahal. It will be part of Dubailand, covering an area of 100 acres with an estimated cost of $1.5-billion.[1] The project is led by Falconcity of Wonders Company, owned by local businessman Salem al Moosa.
When viewed from space, the city will form the shape of a falcon. The Eiffel Tower will be recreated into a hotel with glass in the space between the metal structure. It will also be taller than the original Eiffel Tower and be named "Dubai Eiffel Tower".
The original concept was developed by the CEO under the guidance of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The concept was later imitated by a fradulent company that was ultimately investigated and shut down by the government. Falconcity is now well underway and construction has already started.
