Image currently used in article, Image:Faithy.jpg, has no source. Does anyone have info on source and potentital copyright? If none is forthcoming, it may need to be removed. Does anyone have a photo of her they could release under GFDL or Public Domain? -- Infrogmation 15:07, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I've uploaded a public domain photo of Faith Hill to the Wikimedia Commons, which could be used instead: Image:Faith_Hill.jpg. --fschoenm 14:57, Feb 12, 2005 (UTC)
I've replaced the photo with her album cover of Breathe, which in fact is the same picture in dispute. But because we know it is a album cover, which I made note of, there is no longer a dispute. -- Riffsyphon1024 01:26, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

In case anybody wants to make changes to the three singles articles I made of Faith Hill's "Breathe," "There You'll Be," or "The Way You Love Me," feel free. Also, feel free to make more pages of her singles.

That Country Music Awards incident was funny as hell.

[edit] Colored chart table vs plain one

Hey there. Anyway, what is all the rage with the colored chart table versus the plain one? I personally can't stand the colored one, it's hard on my eyes. Can you please just leave it plain?

If possible, give your reasoning for changing the chart table layout.

Faris b 23:07, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

It looks cleaner and better, in my opinion. Camcallister 14:16, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Ok, well that's a matter of opinion, I politely disagree. Anyway, as I asked on the Joe Nichols talk page, who invented that chart style? And the years do not necessarily need to be clickable.

---

I don't know who invented the chart style, but its been around since before I started editing on wikipedia.

The years are clickable typically in discographies because they link to [[2005 in music|2005]], not just [[2005]]. Camcallister 16:04, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dan Hill

Does anyone know if Faith's first husband, Dan Hill, is the same Dan Hill that sang "Can't We Try" and ""Never Thought (That I Could Love)"?

Some sources seem to think so; others don't. This one goes out of its way to say no. I was, in fact, about to ask the same question. In the meantime, I'm removing the Wikilink to the singer-songwriter until someone can clarify. Bearcat 05:36, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CMA Incident

Please watch for vandalism, non-NPOV or non-verifiable edits, or just plain bad writing. TacoDeposit 03:32, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

How about just plain unimportance? When writing an encyclopedia article, imagine reading it not now but 5 or 10 years from now. What about Faith Hill's music and career will be important then? "Breathe"? Yes. This CMA thing? No. Wasted Time R 22:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

//// Regardless of if this CMA incident is important or not... its still in the article and I think the lines "an obvious joke" need to be removed, as nobody really thinks its an obvious joke... and its one of the non-verfiable edits mentioned above i think? i'm removing it...--68.190.195.139 02:52, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

This section is irrelevant since this is supposed to be an encyclopedia and not a forum for gossip.

I agree with user "Wasted Time R" 24.162.140.132 05:57, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

It should remain... it's an important moment as the fallout nearly ended her career. As for the incident, it was a joke, check youtube for "evil faith hill strikes again" she did the SAME thing to her husband years ago, giving him a smirk immediately before hand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.15.215.184 (talk) 12:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

If it didn't actually end her career, its significance is much less. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 13:59, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

End it or not... it was a major moment that she still tries to explain away —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.15.215.184 (talk) 22:10, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Much ado about nothing. Tabloid nonsense. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 23:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use images

I'm removing the four fair use images. This article doesn't need any since it already has two PD or copy-left images. Also, the fair use images used here don't have a specific rationale for this article, see WP:FU. --Duk 03:39, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] When did she sign for Warner Bros?

Xiner 23:39, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Back in 1993 with her first album.--NeilEvans 23:43, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Faith's band

I'm having a hard time figuring out why someone keeps deleting the band info on here. When people want info on Faith Hill, this is supposed to be one of the best places to come. We should give the most info possible to everybody that is interested. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Njcowboy (talkcontribs) 15:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC).

I just deleted the band info this time. The way the paragraph was worded, it sounded as if those were only the band members for the 2006 tour. If she has used the same band members for 10 years or so, that's one thing to include them, but since she has had such long breaks from touring I suspect that she's not using the same people from before. Otherwise, you should list the band members on the tour or the album pages. Karanacs 19:28, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

This page really needs cleanup. There's a lot of fancruft, and just about every sentence begins with "the". I'm only one man, so I can't edit this whole page myself. Please help! TenPoundHammer 20:35, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I've done a lot of work here, except I ignored the 2007 section rather than deal with it. Can you find any citations for some of the chart info -- like the 57-week run for one of the songs? I marked citations needs for the facts that I noticed that I couldn't find info about. Karanacs 19:29, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template

I added a template to the bottom of the page. Let me know what you think. TenPoundHammer 21:02, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] image

Will someone please change her main picture! She is a very beautiful person so lets see her face instead of her love handels!

The photo is worth its price. Beside, don't you love Handel? Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 23:02, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
