Talk:Failure (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Changed the last disambuation item because, as written, it suggested that searching via Google the term "George W. Bush" yielded "failure" as its result, when in fact searching "failure" yields as the first result "George W. Bush." Now the phrasing may be slightly awkward, but at least it's accurate. Removed the word "still" as unnecessary.
I think the 5th and 6th items were effectively the same thing, so I have merged them. GeraldH 16:01, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Makes sense to me. Gladmax 12:48 13 May 2006 (UTC)
So, is the Shrub in or out? Gladmax 03:17, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Keep the Google bomb entry
The Google bomb entry is a legitimate description of a legitimate internet phenomenon, and does not comment on whether the subject of the Google bomb in question is appropriate. Leave it alone, please. Gladmax 02:44, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Your right failure is a google bomb- but this entry still seems very POV to me - so i'll try to make a compromise: inform the reader that failure is a google bomb and link to Google Bomb but do not tell the reader who the victims are. They can find that out in Google Bomb if they want. 216.201.175.194 17:41, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tell you what, anonymous entity...
I disagree that mentioning the "victim" of a Google bomb establishes a point of view, especially since two victims who are members of a very exclusive club are mentioned, and each victim is a member of the two defacto ruling parties in the U.S. You can edit the Google Bomb entry as you describe it, but I will keep restoring it whenever you delete the whole thing.
